Mary A. (Fox) Brennan, 86, of Hopedale passed away Sunday May, 1, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of William E. Brennan.
Mary was born in Boston the daughter of the late James P. and Margaret A. (MacFarlane) Fox. She had been a resident of Falmouth and Brighton before moving to Hopedale in 1984.
Mary devoted her entire married life to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She especially enjoyed going shopping.
Mr. and Mrs. Brennan observed their 66th wedding anniversary in October 2015.
In addition to her husband William, she is survived by two sons, William E. Jr., and his wife Judith Brennan of Milford, Timothy W. and his wife Kathleen Brennan of Plymouth, one daughter, Margaret M. Brennan of Hopedale, 5 grandchildren, William E. III and his wife Carolyn Brennan of Cumberland, RI, Andrew W. and his wife Alexandra of NY, NY, Timothy W. Jr., and his wife Christy Brennan of Kingston, MA, Tabitha J. Brennan of Plymouth, Miriam E. Brennan of Milford, one great granddaughter, Britlyn, and several in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James Fox.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday May 5, 2016 from 9-10:30 AM in the BUMA SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress Street, Milford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visiting hours on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 11 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale.
Burial will follow in the Hopedale Village Cemetery, Rt. 16, Hopedale.
