By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Medway High School Student Tellers who work at a branch of the Charles River Bank, located in the lobby of the High School, recently placed second at the Massachusetts School Bank Association Spring Conference. There were 30 High School Teams competing, about 275 students and the Medway Student tellers finished second among the teams competing in Marketing. The Medway teams came up with a phone app called $yber Security, educating customers on the need to use good security practices and tools to protect themselves. The tellers created an app that serves as a secured location for personal and banking information reducing the risk of identity theft. The Charles River Bank branch at the High School gives about 45 students each year, the opportunity to get hands on experience, while also gaining an understanding of banking regulations, products and services.
