Medway Police Warn Of Gang Related Break-ins

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Medway Police Department says there has been a recent rash of car breakins the type of which the FBI says, is similar to a gang originating in South Florida and now operating in multiple jurisdictions up and down the Eastern Coast. Medway Police say the town has experienced vehicle breakins targeting valuables left in unlocked cars and trucks, usually located at shopping centers, gyms and parks including Choate Park and the Dog Park. The vehicle seen yesterday in Medway and surrounding towns, committing the break-ins is a Black Chevy Suburban most likely a rental, with stolen license plates.  Meanwhile the FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying members and activities related to a group of organized burglary and identity theft rings, operating independently, using stolen credit cards, checkbooks and identification documents. Known as the “Felony Lane Gang” members of the group use the farthest window from the teller, in bank drive-up lanes using disguises to impersonate the victims. If you have any information contact Medway police or your local police or FBI office.
