MILFORD - Milford is set to benefit from a $1.6 million federal grant from the Department of Justice to expand drug diversion court programs across Worcester County. Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early says as the community works to fight the opioid epidemic law enforcement officials want to make sure those suffering from substance use disorder get help so they can keep families together. The grant funding will also expand the diversion program to courts in Uxbridge, Westborough and other District Courts.
