By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The former Chairman of the town of Milford’s Personnel Board has been reinstated. The question now is, in what capacity does he return to the board. In an announcement last night and without any further discussion, and as a result of an executive session held last Thursday the Milford Board of Selectmen voted to reinstate Dennis Carroll who was removed from the board in June on a 2-1 vote, with Selectmen Bill Buckley and Will Kingkade voting to remove him citing a residency issue. Carroll’s attorney Warren Heller alleges the move was politically motivated listing a handful of reasons in a legal complaint, for ousting Carroll including not supporting either selectmen in their re-election campaigns. The legal case at one point was scheduled for this Thursday in Worcester Superior Court naming as defendants, the Town of Milford and individually Selectmen Buckley and Kingkade. If Carroll returns to the personnel board, he would do so with a new chairman and vice-chairman, Scott Harrison and Harold Rhodes already in place.
