The Milford Cultural Council is seeking applications from Milford organizations and community groups specifically for events
that promote excellence, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities and sciences for the betterment of the
town of Milford.
The application to request funds opens on September 1, 2019 with a deadline on October 15, 2019. Applicants are
encouraged to fill out the official application online found at:
Between November 1, 2019 and December 30, 2019 the Council will hold voting meetings to make decisions on applications,
send denial letters and handle reconsideration requests. By January 15, 2020 the Council will begin to notify applicants
of their funding. “We are excited to get this process moving forward and welcome all applications for projects in the Arts,
Humanities and Sciences.” said Council Chairperson Geri Eddins. Milford residents interested in learning more about the
cultural council, or with questions about the application process, are encouraged to attend council meetings, which are held
every third Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM in Room 2 at the Milford Town Hall (52 Main St. in Milford). Milford residents
