By MyFM's Rick Michaels - There will be several contested races to decide for Milford voters when they head to the polls for the Annual Town Election in April. The deadline to turn in nomination papers was yesterday and on the last day, Ami Clifford returned papers she’s challenging incumbent Selectman Michael Walsh for a three-year term on the board. There are two-seats on the School Committee to be filled, six-candidates are running, two returning papers this week and entering the race Justin Dulak and former School Committee member John Erickson joining incumbent James Ligor, and also Tarik Miranda, RJ Sheedy and Michael Visconte Jr. Incumbent Joe Morais will not seek re-election. On the Board of Library Trustees John Byrnes and Rory D’Alessandro did not pull papers three candidates for the two seats have emerged Stephaine Abisla Margaret Myatt and Scott Vecchiolla. Six-residents are seeking to become one of the town’s five Constables with the five current Constables, all seeking re-election. Among the openings with no imminent race at this time on the Board of Health, Gerald Hennessey is not running for re-election. Paul Mazzuchelli returned nomination papers and will be on the ballot for the Milford Annual Town Election which will be Tuesday April 2nd.
