By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Milford Finance Committee will meet tonight with only two items on the agenda, one deals with two businesses seeking TIFS tax increment financing agreements from the town. The first is Rentschler Biopharma Incorporated a family owned life science company, developing medicines to improve the lives of patients with serious or rare diseases. They’ve acquired property at 27 Maple Street and are considering a 24 thousand square foot expansion to the current building on site at a cost of $55 million and plan to retain 85 full time jobs. Interactions LLC a global technology company, considering moving to Milford at 31 Maple Street leasing a 52 thousand square foot building and relocating 200 full timejobs. FINCOM members will also review a transfer of funds to be set aside for the Police Chief Search Commiittee in it's ongoing work to assist in the process of finding suitable candidates to bring before the Board of Selectmen, for them to choose from in selecting the next Milford Police Chief.
