Milford Firefighters Responded To The Scene Of A Structure Fire
  

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Milford firefighters responded to the scene of a structure fire yesterday morning at 12 Rolling Green Drive, no one was injured, but there was substantial damage to the building. The call came in around 4:30 yesterday morning. The entire building was evacuated with firefighters discovering a working fire in one of the apartments on the third and top floor. A box was struck and then a second alarm was called in, with mutual aid responding as firefighters battled a fire in the attic and had to deal with a good amount of smoke as they attacked the flames from the roof with the fire reported to be knocked down around 5:30am. The State Fire Marshall’s Office was notified and will be investigating the cause of the fire with the flames damaging the apartment where the flames were first reported, while other units suffered smoke and water damage The Red Cross was called to the scene to help those who couldn’t return to their apartments.   Mutual aid brought crews from Hopedale, Hopkinton, Franklin and Bellingham to the scene of the fire in Milford…with Medway and Holliston providing station
