Milford Selectmen tonight may vote to change the locations for residents voting in precincts four and six. There are 1,791 registered voters in precinct four and 2,108 in six. The cost to notify voters of the change would be approximately $3,300. This is not in the town clerk's budget. Town Clerk Amy Neves said there will be more people affected by the change in precinct six than in four. Neves said no one has been precluded from voting. She said she has heard from a small group of voters, ten people, in the past who were unhappy that they are now unable to walk to their polling location. Neves heard from a handful of voters regarding a possible move to the senior center and the feedback was split between not wanting to change and those who were indifferent because they had to drive regardless of where they vote. Neves said she heard from others who are concerned about setting a precedence due to any possible change.
