MILFORD - Milford Police and Community Impact of Milford have joined in on a collaboration called the Family Services Unit. They say the goal is to provide proactive services to people and families in need before their situation escalates into something catastrophic.  The Unit will include police, mental clinicians, peer specialists, and recovery coaches who help people who may be at risk of arrest, overdose, medical complications, and other behavioral health issues that could bring them or others harm.
