Milford Races Heat Up

MyFM's Rick Michaels - At this time, officially, there will be at least two-contested races in the Milford Town Election in April.  Returning nomination papers on Friday were incumbent selectman Chairman Bill Buckley, who’s seeking re-election and Joshua Lioce, who’s running for a one-year un-expired term on the Board of Assessors.  Buckley will face School Committee member and Building Commissioner John Erickson, who returned his papers last Tuesday while Lioce will be facing Charles Skaff, who returned his papers last Wednesday.  Also returning papers on Friday, was Milford Town Clerk Amy Neves, who’s seeking re-election, Scott Vecchiolla for Constable and Lenny Izzo, looking to return to the Board of Health. The latest residents to take out nomination papers are Henry Shahnamian and Jamie Luchini, both seeking re-election to three-year terms as Trustees of the Vernon Grove Cemetary.
