By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Milford Regional Medical Center is implementing new restrictions on visitors, will be screening all those entering the Medical Center and limiting medical services all in an effort to protect patients from
COVID-19 exposure. Effective today no visitors are allowed in the hospital except for, in maternity the birthing partner is allowed one-parent or guardian for a child is allowed and visitors may be allowed for patients at the end of life. All patients and visitors will be screened and those who have tested positive or been in contact with someone with COVID-19 will not be allowed to enter the hospital and you will not be allowed in if you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath. Milford Regional also saying effective today all elective surgery will be cancelled and routine screenings and
outpatients services should be rescheduled and patients should contact their primary care provider.
