By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Milford School Committee meets tonight and under the report of the Superintendent of Schools, there are several issues to be discussed related to the COVID-19 pandemic. First on the agenda, Superintendent Dr. Kevin McIntyre will update school committee members on the COVID numbers in the Milford community, which showed some improvement last Thursday but the town remains in the “RED” highest risk category for COVID transmission. The next weekly update from the Department of Public Health is expected to be released this evening before tonight’s meeting. Dr. McIntyre will also discuss the timeline for returning to in-person learning and will be requesting the Committee’s vote on a return date. There is also scheduled discussion on recent updates on vaccination requirements and for MCAS.
