By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Millis Police and several local police departments assisted with the search and apprehension of a Haverhill man Tuesday afternoon, who took off not once but twice after Millis Police tried to stop the vehicle he was driving on Farm Street and then again, after police found the vehicle parked on Norfolk Road Extension, where he fled on foot. 30-year old Eric Cuppernell of Haverhill is being charged with breaking and entering in the daytime, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and a license plate violation. Cuppernelle used New Hampshire license plates to try and conceal the identity of the vehicle. Millis Police were assisted in the search for Cuppernell by Medway, Franklin, Holliston, Norfolk and Ashland police departments, the search included an area of Village Street and Pleasant Street in Millis. As Cuppernell tried to escape through the woods, he began dropping multiple pieces of jewelry items stolen from a Millis home, this is an active ongoing investigation. Cuppernell was arraigned yesterday in Wrentham District Court and was held on $20,000 bail.
