Mrs. Janice M. (Ruscitti) Cloutier, 75, of Milford MA died Sunday evening (April 2, 2023) at her residence after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. Cloutier.
 
Janice was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Nicholas Ruscitti and the late Sophie (Borek) Ruscitti. She attended the former Sacred Heart Elementary School as a young girl and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School, Class of 1964. She was also a graduate of Worcester State College, Class of 1968 and later received a degree from Lesley College in 1993.
 
Janice was a longtime elementary school teacher, working in the Milford public school system. At various times she had taught at the West Street School; the former Sacred Heart School complex, the Granite Street School, the Woodland Elementary School and the Memorial School.
 
Janice was a lifelong resident of Milford MA and was an avid reader. She also loved to travel  and go camping in the Berkshires with her family. She was also a fierce Boston Red Sox fan.
 
Along with her beloved husband, she is survived by her daughter: Lynn Ann Strong, wife of Jeffrey Strong of Hull MA and her son: Paul Daniel Cloutier and his wife Sarah of Waltham MA; also her 2 grandsons: Jared Strong of Woburn MA and Austin Strong of Hull MA.
 
Her funeral will be held Friday (April 7th) at 8am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Liturgy of the Word Service at 9am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Thursday (April 6th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
