What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Camping in VT. We go every year and every year my wife and I sit back and say that this is our happy place.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I really wish I stuck to playing guitar. I bought my first one back in high school. I never took lessons and I tried to teach myself. My parents even got me a 12-string guitar one year for charismas. That year I was like “hell ya, I’m gunna rock out with the 12-string!” well that never happened and I slowly drifted away from it. Both of my guitars now hang on my wall in my pub as decorations or for anyone to play, mostly the kids who just want to strum the hell out of it!
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I would have to say starting Milford’s annual 4th Of July Parade is my greatest achievement. To bring an idea that has been brewing in my mind for some time to reality is something that I will never forget. I had a vision that I had shared with my wife and some friends, of this grand parade in Milford for the 4th, and how cool it would be if we had something that people would line the streets to see with friends and family and then go hit a cook out or have your own party and talk about the parade! Hundreds line the streets for the Santa parade in the freezing cold, if they can do it for Santa, they would want to do it for the 4th right? Well, with some help from some great people (Renee Callery, Ray & Molly Auger, Jenny Lyons, Erin Curley and Nicole Romiglio) we gave Milford its first 4th of July Parade! That to me is one of my greatest achievements, hands down.
