By MyFM's Rick Michaels- The Northbridge Board of Health and the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project have coordinated a designated spray to be done tonight, following last weeks’ notice, that the West Nile virus was detected in mosquitoes collected in Northbridge. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health notified Northbridge and the area of concern, which includes some land near the Uxbridge town line that it will be sprayed tonight after sunset. Northbridge residents can check the town website to see what streets and land are affected with spray. Pre-cautions include staying inside during the application and for 15-20 minutes afterwards, keeping pets inside and closing windows. No humans have tested positive for the virus accidental exposure is not expected to cause any health concerns, in most people.
