HOPKINTON - Plans are shaping up to put pickleball courts near Hopkinton’s Fruit Street Park. At their meeting last week the Parks & Recreation Commission got a look at revisions to an earlier proposal which had a projected cost higher than allocated by Town Meeting. The Hopkinton Independent reported the proposed plan would include four permanent pickleball courts with permanent nets and four others that could be converted to a tennis court. It comes in about $32,000 under the Town Meeting allocation of $775,000.
