By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The founder and C-E-O of Sira Naturals, with a marijuana facility in Milford and several other towns is looking to open a retail pot shop across from the Prudential Center in Boston and was met with resistance last night at a community meeting. The recent debate over recreational marijuana
shops in Boston, came at a packed meeting at the Boston Public Library last night, with Michael Dundas making his plea for a recreational marijuana business at 829 Boylston Street. A location Dundas feels is an ideal location, for one of the more than 50 possible retail licenses coming to the city of Boston. However as we move into week 20 of adult use Marijuana sales no licenses have been approved for Boston. The closest is Brookline, Dundas telling the residents and business owners gathered last night he’s prepared to implement plans to minimize any noticeable crowds from gathering outside the business, but most attending the meeting were not in favor of a pot shop near Copley Square.
