Students Say Jeep Passenger Showed Gun

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - An increased police presence is likely to remain at the King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, after a group of students walking near the school yesterday afternoon say a Jeep pulled up alongside them and the passenger in the back seat, extended his arm out the window, possibly holding a handgun. Wrentham Police the six students say the white jeep was occupied by three black males they appeared to be in their 20’s, the driver was wearing a beanie and the rear seat passenger had a buzz cut. The incident happened on Franklin Street (Route 140) between the High School and the Wrentham Common at approximately 3:20 yesterday afternoon. This remains an active investigation if anyone has video surveillance cameras in the area or anyone remembers seeing a white Jeep near or on that stretch of road yesterday afternoon around three o’clock you’re asked to call Wrentham Police.
