Thursday October 3rd, 2019 - Every Tuesday on MyFM in the Morning at 7:20am we celebrate Tacos! After all, it IS Taco Tuesday. And not only do we celebrate that deliciously wrapped bundle of edible joy but also the musical stylings of Taco the artist. That 80s, well-to-do, dapper Dutchman of Puttin’ on the Ritz fame.
Each week I give you great tips for making tasty tacos, often provided by you, the listener. If you have a favorite taco tip or recipe please send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org maybe I’ll share it!
This past Tuesday we talked about pairing the right beer with your tacos… a subject near and dear to my heart. While experts cite the best pairing to be Belgian Wits, American IPAs and Pilsners (the top choice of experts), I went a step further and made a list of easily accessible local brews that you can add to your next Taco Tuesday Fiesta.
Jack’s Abby Post Shift Pilsner
Brewed with Bavarian malt and hops, this everyday Pilsner is bright, crisp and refreshing.
CraftRoots Wit and Weissdom Belgian Wit
Traditional Belgian Wit on the stronger side at 6.3% ABV. Deep golden hue, rich fruity esters from the yeast give notes of pear and plum.
Startline Brewing Acrobat Double IPA
This American Double IPA features a light malt bill that lets this collection of hops shine in extraordinary balance. Aromas of heavy stone fruit and citrus with a slight earthiness. A bitter backbone balanced with bold aroma flavors.
Be sure to listen in every Tuesday at 7:20am to Taco Tip Tuesday on MyFM in the Morning! Remember… a taco is only a taco if it’s made with love!
