By MyFM's rick Michaels - A Taunton man is facing charges as the driver of a vehicle, who’s passenger is believed to have exited the vehicle through the passenger side window, possibly while the vehicle was moving on Route 495 Southbound in Plainville. At about 1:20 Sunday morning, State Troopers out of Foxboro responded to a report of an adult female who had exited a motor vehicle and sustained injuries, with troopers locating the woman, a 26-year-old Taunton resident, in the roadway with serious injuries. She was transported by EMS to Rhode Island Hospital. She is expected to survive. The vehicle in which the woman had been a passenger remained on the scene and troopers determined that the driver of the vehicle, 25-year old Joseph Monsini of Taunton, was under the influence of alcohol and arrested him. Monsini was taken to State Police Foxborough for booking. The investigation is continuing into how and why the victim exited the vehicle on Route 495 Southbound in Plainville, between exits 14 and 13.
