No major plot details yet but American Horror Story showrunner Ryan Murphy has spilled a little info about how he will terrify us next season. Murphy says that the show will take place in the future. But only 10 to 20 years in the future. “A projection story”, says Murphy. AMH alum Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and Evan Peters are, of course, back. While Murphy wouldn't actually name any names, he's currently signing up some "high profile guest star names" for season eight as well. The much-anticipated Murder House/Coven crossover will not happen in season 8 but could possibly be scheduled for season 9 with original stars from season 1, Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton, interested in revisiting the Murder House. I don’t know if you guys have noticed but there has been a companion show that has been running for quite some time now. American Horror Story: Washington.
Remember Aubrey O’Day? She had a career as a singer in one of Diddy’s girl bands, Danity Kane. She was on Celebrity Apprentice. Remember when our president was a reality show host? Anyway, Aubrey had a little scandal with Donald Trump Jr. when the two allegedly had an affair during her stint on the show. And now a video has surfaced of O’Day performing two songs she wrote about the affair after they were shelved years back because she couldn’t pay her production fees. In the cheaply produced home video for one of the tunes, a remix of Goyte’s 2011 hit Somebody That I Used To Know, O’Day is topless with words like “cheater”, “liar” and “seduction” written all over her body. And she tweaked some lyrics just to make sure her message got heard. For example -- "You said that was the reason for your pain / But you were scared to ruin your family's name / Your wife's the only one glad we are over." Hell hath no fury like a reality show star scorned.
Roger Daltrey didn't have to headline a music festival to score a $1 million payday, he did it playing a rich dude's 60th birthday over the weekend in California instead. The party was for Dr. Craig Flashner. If you're wondering how Flashner had the million to spare ... he owns about 500 nursing homes across the country. The party was held Saturday at Flashner's home in Westlake Village, about an hour outside of L.A. Daltrey accounted for the bulk of the party's $1.5 million price tag. The bash also featured Cirque du Soleil performers and fire eaters. In related news, I recently played a birthday party with my band. They only paid $50 plus canned domestic beer and we threw in our friend that does this neat trick with Fireball whiskey and a lighter. Who got the better deal I ask you?
