By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Hopkinton Board of Selectmen will be taking a look tonight and will discuss a Host Community Agreement Compliance Statement. The Board will consider executing a statement indicating compliance with a Host Community Agreement between REC Hopkinton and the Town of Hopkinton. Dealing with a development project containing both residential and commercial components, on approximately 95 acres of land off Lumber Street. Hopkinton Selectmen will also receive an update from Lykan Bioscience, regarding it’s interest to locate in the town on property at 97 South Street. The company would lease a vacant building, for it’s clinical manufacturing operations. The project investment by Lykan is estimated at 12-million dollars, creating 125-permanent full-time jobs, over a five-year period.
