By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Hopkinton Select Board will consider approving a new Bond Anticipation Note tonight, in the amount of just over $4.5 million. More than half of that amount would go for installing turf and lighting on two fields at Hopkinton High School and to make associated capital improvements. There’s also money, $1.3 million to go to a couple of water main projects, on Hayden Rowe Street and Cedar Street and $500,000 for the Main Street, Downtown Hopkinton Corridor Project. The Select Board will hold a preliminary discussion tonight on the water and sewer rates, ahead of a public hearing scheduled for two weeks from tonight. Also on the agenda will be the expected acceptance by the Board, of a donation from the Hopkinton Public Library Foundation the second of three donations, it totals about $436,000, bringing the Foundation's contribution, about $120,000 short of the $1 million promised to go towards the cost of the new Hopkinton Library.
