By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Massachusetts Department of Public Health says the current Triple “E” risk level in the towns of Holliston, Bellingham and Mendon have been raised to the critical level even as recent aerial spraying in the area, is now complete. In Holliston and Mendon the virus has been detected in a horse, and the town of Holliston has also had a mosquito sample test positive for the West Nile Virus. Residents are urged to curtail all outdoor activities between dusk and dawn…Triple “E” is a rare but serious illness and can infect people of all ages especially those under 15 years of age or over 50 years of age, they are at the greatest risk for serious illness. All communities are postponing or rescheduling any outdoor activities that include evening and night time hours as town officials work closely with the Department of Health and other agencies, to keep residents up to date on the mosquito situations for both Triple “E” and the West Nile Virus.
