By MyFM' s Rick Michaels - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will begin holding a series of four public information meetings tonight, designed to inform residents of the status of a major Interchange Improvement Project planned for the crossroads of the Mass Pike and Route 495. The Mass-DOT project team will be in Hopkinton tonight and in Milford next Tuesday night, to share details regarding the advancing concepts of the reconstruction plans and answer any questions. The goal of this project, is to create a safer and better operational interchange, where the Mass Pike meets Route 495. This will be a four-year project, with work expected to begin in 2022 and be completed by 2026. The first informational meeting will be held tonight at the Marathon Elementary School in Hopkinton from 6:30-8:30pm and then next Tuesday night at the same time, at the Milford Town Hall. In between these two sessions two other public informational meetings will be held in Worcester and Bolton.
