By MyFM’s John Wilbur - All of the Questions have been answered about the 2018 New England Patriots and whether or not they were a championship quality team? Is Tom Brady too old or has Rob Gronkowski lost a step, would Julian Edleman recover from last years torn ACL and than a four game suspension to start the season. Well the questions were answered with the Patriots winning their 6th Super Bowl title in 18 years and their third in a row. Brady didn’t have his best game throwing an interception on his first pass of the game but the defense was stellar in this one. The Defense allowed just 3 points the fewest points allowed in a Super Bowl and they forced Jeff Goff and the Rams offense to rush and play on their heals all day. Todd Gurley never really got going. While on the offensive side of the ball for the Patriots, Tom moved the ball with Julian Edelman playing outstanding earning the games MVP Award, and Sony Michelle joining James White and Rex Burkhead for a great ground attack that would give the Pats the advantage when it came to offensive time of possession. Sony’s 2 yard run would be the games only touchdown with Steven Gostkowski going three for four in the kicking game hitting two field goals and an extra point. This was truly a team effort led by the G.O.A.T Tom Brady and the greatest head coach to ever teach the game Bill Belichick. There are lots of questions now that the season is over, one question I don’t think anyone has to ask is when is Tom Brady leaving and to me it looks like the GOAT is having way too much fun to hang up the cleats just yet. There are others that the team will have to consider replacing with Devon McCorty hinting that this could have been his last game and the Gronk is always the subject of the off season and whether or not he will return for another season. The only thing we know for sure right now is that the City of Boston will be inundated with Patriots fans on Tuesday when the Duck Boats roll through the streets again carrying the Super bowl Champions and their 6th Lombardi trophy.
