By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Two Rhode Island residents are facing charges after being stopped yesterday by Mendon Police on Bates Street. Both men were driving vehicles and among the charges they face, is a license plate violation to conceal the identity of the vehicle. Mendon Police say the first stop came around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, 36-year old Luis Lopez-Rodriguez of Woonsocket is also charged with driving an uninsured vehicle, owned by a Fall River man. The second stop came around 7:30 last night. 58-year old Manuel Torres is also being charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving an unregistered motor vehicle, owned by a Cranston, Rhode Island woman.
