BY MyFM's Rick Michaels - An Uxbridge man is facing a variety of charges, after Bellingham Police say he rear-ended two-vehicles on South Main Street and then drove off, crashing just moments later in Franklin. Bellingham Police received two 9-1-1 calls about five minutes apart Wednesday night around five o’clock, reporting the same vehicle rear-ending their vehicle and taking off. Bellingham Police contacted Franklin Police, as the vehicle driven by 30-year old Jesse Doyon of 1070 Quaker Highway in Uxbridge ended up on Prospect Street in Franklin, where Doyon crashed into a utility pole and then took off on foot. Doyon was captured a short time later and was arrested. He’s charged with two-counts of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, two-counts of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failing to stop for police and speeding. The drivers from the two-vehicles he struck were both from Bellingham they were not injured, Doyon did suffer a laceration he was treated at the scene and taken into custody by Bellingham Police.
