By MyFM's Ri k Michaels - The Uxbridge Planning Board will be holding several public hearings tonight discussing several articles on the warrant for the Fall Annual Town Meeting later this month as well as an application for the removal of more than 50 trees, along two scenic roads in town. Planning Board members will review the application from National Grid, in conjunction with the Uxbridge Department of Public Works which seeks approval to remove 53 Town owned trees along with the pruning of other trees, to create a clearance zone around main power lines. The streets involved are Henry Street and Chapin Street. The Board will also look at six articles including discussion on the fate of the McCloskey School amendments to the Zoning By Laws for Marijuana establishments and adoption of a wetlands by law.
