By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Uxbridge voters who sent in their votes or headed to the polls yesterday deciding to re-elect it's Town Moderator to another three-year term. Charles “Ed” Maharay will remain as Town Moderator, in the only contested race on the ballot in Uxbridge yesterday. Maharay was being challenged by and defeated former Republican State Representative Kevin Kuros. There were also several open seats two three-year terms on the School Committee, were won by two write-in candidates, Paul Paulino and Matt Keane. A three-year term on the Finance Committee saw Lance Anderson win the seat as a write-in candidates. Uxbridge deciding to hold it's Annual Town Election yesterday while Medway, Holliston and Northbridge moved their elections from yesterday to next month, because of the COVID-19
Pandemic. The number of total votes cast in Uxbridge was 676 representing 6.5% of eligible voters.
